What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you first come in every day?
Read the board and get started on work, or soft start at your seat
*New: Agendas will be done in the mornings
How do we line up for recess, specials, lunch/ every time we leave the room?
walk quietly in two lines. Face forward, no talking (voice at 0).
Line leaders at the front, caboose at the back.
NEW: We will not line up until Miss Sproule asks you to when you are in the classroom.
What do you do if you have a question when the teacher is at small group/round table?
3 before me! Ask 3 friends for help before asking the teacher.

What does work time sound like?
Level 0, unless you have permission to talk, then level 1.
When should you go get breakfast?
After you come to the classroom to drop off materials in the morning!
Locker->Drop off supplies-> breakfast
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Look at the back anchor chart and pick one of the activities to do.
What if I do not have a snack?
Ask Miss Sproule and she will tell you to grab a snack
"Don't spread rumors", "be kind/positive to others" goes along with which one of our rules?

How do students respect other students/teachers things?
By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.
When I need to use the bathroom what is the hand signal, and how many people can be in there and do you have to sign out?

When walking to lockers, at your lockers, and walking back from your lockers what should it look and sound like?
Walking, backpack is still, voice volume is low, feet are not kicking the locker, walk back quietly.
How do we act at small group table? What do you do when it's not your turn at small group?
You sit nicely in your chair, do small group work together, then walk back to your desk.
If it's not your turn at small group, you're doing your choice board work on the carpet, other tables or quietly at your seat.
'stay on task", "be ready to learn", "focus when others are talking" is which class rule?
How do you know what to-do in the morning?
Look at the slide on the board every morning
When can I sharpen my pencil?
At the beginning of the day, or during work time or center time. Not during directions or when the teacher/anyone is talking
Where can you turn in your work?
cherry or grey bin by the chromebook cart
What should you do if you are missing a supply like crayons, pencil, scissors, or glue?
Borrow one from the class supplies, or ask a neighbor if they are willing to share.

By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies.

How do we walk back into the room?
Walk in quietly sit in your seat and get ready for the next activity.
What should you do if you hear the doorbell ring or if Miss Sproule is trying to catch your attention?
Stop what you're doing, look and listen for directions.
