What do you do when you want to talk in class?

By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.

Unpack backpack, take out agenda and homework, write down homework in agenda, get Ipad out, and start Morning Work.

How do we walk through the halls when going to lunch or specials?

Quietly, in a straight line. We keep our hands to ourselves at all times. Walk on the right side.

What do you do if you have a question when the teacher is working with another student or with a group?

Ask 3 friends for help before asking the teacher.

How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?

Wait until she finishes giving directions.

By being RSD proud (respectful, safe and distinguished.) 3 points can be earned per class.

By following directions, answering questions correctly, helping others.

How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?

Give an interested message...ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.

How do students respect other students things?

By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.

What is the procedure for using the bathroom?

If the pass is up front, take it and sign out on smartpass.

What should you do with items that you find in the classroom and don't know who they belong to?

Put them in the red lost and found bin.

What is the star jar? How does it work?

If we fill the star jar we earn a class reward. We fill the star jar by being respectful as a class, helping others, and following all directions.

In your YELLOW folder for ELA and ORANGE folder for social studies.

Wait until you are called, push in your chair, and walk to line without talking. For lunch, we line up in our assigned seat order.
