What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you first come in every day?
Unpack backpack, take out agenda and homework, write down homework in agenda, get Ipad out, and start Morning Work.
How do we walk through the halls when going to lunch or specials?
Quietly, in a straight line. We keep our hands to ourselves at all times. Walk on the right side.
What do you do if you have a question when the teacher is working with another student or with a group?
Ask 3 friends for help before asking the teacher.
How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?
Wait until she finishes giving directions.
What does work time sound like?
Level 0, unless you have permission to talk, then level 1.
How do you earn PBIS points?
By being RSD proud (respectful, safe and distinguished.) 3 points can be earned per class.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Epic reading or sometimes Activities for when you've finished.
How do you earn tickets for Mrs. Voelker's prize bin?
By following directions, answering questions correctly, helping others.
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
Give an interested message...ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.
How do students respect other students things?
By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.
What is the procedure for using the bathroom?
If the pass is up front, take it and sign out on smartpass.
What should you do with items that you find in the classroom and don't know who they belong to?
Put them in the red lost and found bin.
What is the star jar? How does it work?
If we fill the star jar we earn a class reward. We fill the star jar by being respectful as a class, helping others, and following all directions.
Where should you put work that is not finished?
In your YELLOW folder for ELA and ORANGE folder for social studies.
How do you know what to-do in the morning?
Look at the slide on the TV every morning
What do you do as soon as you come into ELA?
Answer the google question, then read on Epic.
Where can you turn in your work?
What should you do if you are missing a supply like crayons, pencil, scissors, or glue?
Borrow one from a classmate or use PBIS points to purchase one.
How can you be a kind?
Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others, helping others, sharing.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies.
How do we line up to leave the room?
Wait until you are called, push in your chair, and walk to line without talking. For lunch, we line up in our assigned seat order.
How do we walk back into the room?
Walk in quietly directly to your seat.
Where should your cell phones be during school?
In your locker.
What should be kept in your desk?
ONLY the hardback Wonders book. All personal items are carried with you or kept in your lockers.
