What do you do when you want to talk during direct instruction?

Raise your hand quietly until you are called on.

What do you do when you first come in every day?

Pick up any papers at the table by the door, look at smart board to see what you need for the day, put backpack in assigned basket, grab assigned folder and needed supplies, sit down and begin working on Bellringer.

How do we dismiss?

We are dismissed by the bell only when we are seated and quiet. If that is not the case, the teacher will hold the class and dismiss by student or row.

Level 0, unless you have permission to talk, then Level 1.

During work time. Not during lesson/direct instruction time. You still need to ask the teacher before you go. (10-10 rule)

Where do you put work once it it finished?

Put your paper (with your name on it) in the correct turn in tray (if the assignment needs to be turned in).

How do we act at small group table? What do you do when it's not your turn at small group?

You sit nicely in your chair, do small group work together, then walk back to your desk. 

If it's not your turn at small group, you're doing center work at the tables or quietly at your desk.

At the beginning of class, or during independent or group work. Not during direct instruction.

What should you do if you need help and I am not at the small group table?

Ask someone at your table/area for help not the answer then go back to doing it. If you have asked 3 students and they cannot help you, then you can approach the teacher at the small group table.

How can you fix your mistakes so it doesn't happen the next day?

Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others, etc.

Respecting the person talking by actively listening.

How do we come into the room?

Quickly and quietly so when the bell rings you are ready.

How do we walk back into the room?

Walk in quietly without words and sit in your seat. Do not bang on door. Knock once or twice and wait until someone opens it. Do not stand out in the hall or peek out of opening the door.

What do you do when you open the door and are using the restroom?

Open the door correctly take the pass from the teacher and when coming back putting it back in the white cart behind the teacher's desk.

How can you fix your behavior so it doesn't get to consequence 2 or 3?

Stop what I am doing and ask my teacher for help.
