All associates! Clerks will check routinely on a monthly basis but should be checking daily when stocking. Nurses and materials management are also responsible for checking expiration dates. Commonly expired products include lab tubes, sterile rubber bands, sterile gloves, saline vials.
The shift where breast milk vouchers are given out to pumping Moms if needed.
Night shift. At night, a physical meal voucher is given to parents. During the day, parents are able to go to the cafeteria to eat. Parents call 53-MEAL and then a voucher is "called in" on their behalf. Parents do not need to call cafeteria and have food delivered to unit.

True/False: Mamaroo swings must stay in the designated patient room.
True. Each room has its own mamaroo. If a patient is transferred to a new room, the mamaroo cover can be removed and transferred with the patient. When patient is discharged, remove cover to be laundered, clean Mamaroo and then fully re-assemble for next use. Place new cloth cover, disposable blue cover and then wrap in plastic. If a patient is discharged and never used the Mamaroo, no further action is needed if it is assembled and covered in plastic wrap. For the “new” Mamroo’s with the 5-point harness straps, remove cover for laundering, leave straps attached to the Mamaroo and clean with purple wipes (like we do with the older model.)
