Who runs the FRC?
DCMC primarily utilizes Chaplain Services, Child Life, Case Management, Patient Representatives and Volunteer Services to staff the FRC. Other staff can be allocated by the ICC as needed.
What is the role of an FRC Escort?
Help caregivers reunite with patients once caregivers and patients have been matched and verified.
What does RACEE stand for?
Rescue those in immediate danger
Activate the fire alarm

In the case of a FACILITY ALERT-HAZARDOUS MATERIALS RELEASE 1 & 2, who in our department is trained to clean up incidental spills?

In house responders must be trained and may need to use respiratory protection and/or other PPE as appropriate. In some incidences, a commercial hazardous waste contractor will be called to perform clean up.
This is an area with computer access reserved for the FRC managers/search team to receive and compare patient intake forms and caregiver forms to identify potential matches.
