Explain why two articles connect to the prompt

  • The Right to Play : We all have the right to rest from work and relax/play. Increasing heat is violating this human right as it is affecting a person's ability to play outside, specifically athletes.

  • Food and Shelter For All : People have the right to be cared for. As heat continues to rise, our food will become more expensive and harder to obtain, making it difficult for people to provide for themselves and others.

Social Security: We all have the right to affordable housing. Increasing precipitation affects a person's right to affordable housing because it prevents organizations like habitat for humanity from completing home building projects for underprivileged and struggling families.

  • Workers Rights: Every grown-up has the right to do a job. As precipitation increases, outside workers will have bigger problems in completing their work making it difficult and frustrating.
