Requires face to face assessment with resident as well as documentation in eOMIS. Can only be issued for 24 hours at a time, after this period of time, the MH supervisor and MH program administrator must review.

What is a pre-restrictive housing assessment?
Low level interventions offered to residents on their units. Can be suggested by MH, peer assistants, or any staff member.

What is a P4?
At this level, residents will participate in monthly individual counseling sessions, at a minimum, with the primary mental health clinician, will be offered a minimum of six out-of-cell therapeutic contact hours and a minimum of ten out-of cell non-therapeutic contact hours per week. Residents should be actively engaged in treatment interventions and meaningful activities with the majority of their time spent out-of-cell in programming and treatment.
What is level 3?
Severe impairment due to psychiatric and behavioral health problems. These residents may be a danger to themselves and/or others and/or be unable to perform activities of daily living.
