What is "Free" Cross Sell? Your agency home page in the Marketing Solutions Center will tell you how many available monoline autos and homes you have available to cross sell. You can make a policy selection, customize a mailer and send it right from the MSC. Coming very soon Safeco will be offering a free Cross Sell. We will mail a cross sell letter or postcard on your behalf. Later this year we will offer a Free Specialty Cross Sell. Based on third party data the MSC will show you which existing Safeco customers may have a motorcycle, watercraft or RV not written with Safeco (and maybe not by the agency). Select the customers you wish to contact and we'll mail a letter on your behalf.

What is Motorcycle? Motorcycle automatically includes safety apparel up to $1,000 and custom parts up to $3,000. Motorcycle policyholders who have physical damage coverage can itemize up to $3,000 of custom parts and equipment (CP&E) coverage at no additional cost. Higher CP&E limits are available for an additional charge. We also provide replacement on Harley Davidson bikes two years old or newer and OEM parts.

What is 25 years and older and drives less than 8,000 miles? Low Mileage verification is a written request to the insured. If they fail to respond we will reduce the discount for the first term and remove it completely at the end of the second year.

What is Home Quote Prefill? As you finish an auto quote you will begin to see the option to view the new prefilled home quote. The prefilled quote is based on information from the auto quote and public records where available. Once installed, the device automatically collects and transfers driving data for around four months. Customers can access their driving data through a secure website. After the evaluation period, Safeco lets you and your customers know how well they did and if they qualify to have their driving incident permanently waived.

What is Safeco's recognition of agents volunteering in their communities? In 2015 Safeco will be giving awards to 99 agencies and on their behalf donate $400,000 to charities across teh country. Mid-West awarded three grants in March. We are inour second round and the deadline for submissions is June 2nd. To be considered for an award, agents must complete this application and provide a photo taken within the last 12 months that shows themselves or members of their agency volunteering for a qualified nonprofit organization. If your application is selected for a Make More Happen Award, the photo and information you submit will be featured in a special online voting event, which provides the opportunity for the nonprofit supported by your volunteer efforts to receive additional donations from Safeco based on the outcome of public votes.
