Bottom of the basket should be scanned first, to ensure it has been scanned, also the MEA will be looking for BOB at the top of the receipt.

No. There must be a TM who is trained at the door at all times.
Give an example of when a pull card can be scanned?
At no time should a pull card be scanned. Always scan the article's UPC. This will help reduce shrink.
Should you ever scan a pull card? Why?
No.
There could be a mix up in the article, thus causing a member to receive the wrong item.

Who can work at the front door?
Anyone over the age of 18, who has 6 months or more service with BJ's, has been fully trained at the door. Approval from Regional AP Megan,and Mario must be given to any exceptions.
Are SCA's suppose to retrieve electronics and cigarettes for a member?
Why
No, SCA's are not to retrieve electronics or cigarettes.
They are to get assistance from the Member service member, or an MOD
SCA's should always be in the center of SCO registers to assist members and not to leave them alone.
What do you do if a member comes with a red flatbed, full of merchandise?
Call for assistance in scanning the order. Count all articles yourself, do not take a list from a member.

Offer great customer service! Most thieves do not want to be identified, so by offering the best customer service and saying, "Hello how are you today, do you need help with finding what you are looking for", will deter shoplifters to go elsewhere, where they can go unnoticed.
