How many steps are there BEFORE a discipline report is written?

5 Steps

100

What could you use to clock in, beside the mobile Bamboo application?

You can use a browser on your phone, or the computer in the staff break room.

100

What is the purpose of the front desk?

Member check-in and out, or parent and donor questions.

The front desk is not a common area or hang-out spot. You have a break room now, use it.

When should cleaning be done?

Every day! There are plenty of staff and more than enough time to get this Club looking amazing! If you have time to lean, you have time to clean.

100

Monday - Thursday // 2:30pm - 6:00pm

Friday // 7:30am - 6:00pm

200

What belongs on Incident reports?

Anything that you want parents to know. It could be for a small mishap, a member needs a change of clothes, or if a member was being bullied by another member. Incident reports can also be used for something GOOD!

200

What is the grace period for tardies?

5 minutes.

You may clock in 5 minutes late, but not 5 minutes early.

200

Can you work off the clock?

No! If you've been asked to clock out and go home, or you are waiting for your ride at the end of your shift; that does not mean that you can float around the Club, chatting with other Staff who are working and interacting with members.

200

What must you do after you have finished cleaning your assigned areas?

Sign off of the cleaning schedule.

200

Is there anything that would make your experience working here at the Club, better?

Thanks for your honest feedback!

300

Why would you fill out an Accident Report?

If another member or staff get hit and it was unintentional, if a member trips and is bruised, bleeding, or broken, or if you provide them with first aid resulting from any of the above.

300

How long before the start of your shift should you call in if you will be out due to illness or injury?

2 Hours

You will receive 1 point if you call in within two hours of your shift starting. If you return to work with a doctors note, that point will be removed.

300

Should we be eating anything in front of the members?

No. All of our members go to school for the same hours as some of you, and all we know for sure is that they get the food that we provide. Some members are going to bed hungry tonight.

You have a break room now, feel free to utilize it to have a snack.

300

What should you do if you can't get your cleaning done for any reason?

Call, text, or email your Unit Director.

300

I need two volunteers (who aren't closing) to come in from 7:15 to 3:15 tomorrow

Thank you!

400

What are all the steps you must take before filling out a Discipline report?

1. Verbal Warning

2. Sit Out of Activity

3. One-on-One conversation about Club norms

4. Send Member to another staff or group

5. Send Member to the Unit Director with a Discipline form filled out.

400

If you forget to clock in or out, what should you do?

Email the Unit Director.

I can't look at the schedule and just clock you in for that time. In order for me to be HR compliant, YOU need to tell ME what time you need to be clocked in and/or out. Every missed clock in is 0.5 points.

400

What are some Radio best practices?

Keep communication over radios professional.

To talk, hold the radio about 2 to 3 inches from your mouth and push the button. Speak clearly and distinctly and slowly into the microphone. Speak in a normal voice; do not raise your voice or whisper.

After pushing the button, hesitate for a second before talking. There is a signal being transmitted as soon as you push the button, which will cover up the first part of your voice, if you begin talking too soon.

400

What does it mean when an area is designated as a "Priority" area?

Even if other areas don't get clean, these areas MUST be done!

Next week will be "All hands on deck," while we prepare the Club for the Bash.

Make sure we are acting in a manner that reflects that. Keep our conversations, music, and everything else; on and off the clock; appropriate for 5 to 12 year olds.
