What is TRUE?
It collects more detailed information on housing, population, and the economy. Data are collected continuously throughout the year and throughout the decade from a sample of the population (about 3 million addresses annually).

What are 1) online at home or a library or other location that is hosting a QAK/QAC. 2) over the phone, or 3) on paper?
If you/someone you know lives in a basement or an attic that is not up to housing codes completes the census or is counted in your housing unit, can you get in trouble?
What is NO! The census is meant to count people, not to monitor housing violations. And, the Census Bureau can not legally share your information?
Name 5 services that depend on the results of the Census
What are Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Housing, education, school lunch, SNAP, WIC, CHIP, special education, Head Start, transportation, etc.?
Incarcerated individuals or individuals with a felony on their record are not counted in the Census.
What is FALSE. Incarcerated individuals always count, even if they have a felony. If they are currently incarcerated, they will be counted through group quarters.
Place with access to resources and a computer to complete the Census.
What is a Questionnaire Assistance Kiosk (QAK)? QACs are places where residents can receive guidance.

Usual Residence.
What is where you are counted?! This could be your home or a group quarter such as a college dorm, military base, or correctional facility where you live for most of the year.
The reasons that it is critical to get a complete and accurate Census count. Name at least 2.
What are representation, funding, planning/infrastructure, and policy decisions - where to place schools, businesses, etc.?
U.S. Census Bureau employees are the only people who can assist residents with completing the Census form.
What is TRUE?

What are: Privacy concerns; digital divide; language; distrust in government and fallout from the citizenship question; disconnect on the importance of the census, etc.
Name 3 Common Sense Safety Measures to help you protect your Census information.
What are 1) double-check hyperlinks to ensure they come from safe sources; 2) Never give your SSN, bank account, credit card number, money or donations. The Census will NEVER ask for it. 3) Do not give info to someone to enter later. 4) When using public computers – don’t save passwords, log out of emails & delete downloads. 5) Double-check the identity of Census Takers.
