This type of sentence gives a command
What is an imperative sentence?
the art of communicating effectively through writing or speaking. Any form of communication to “convey a message” where the reader understands the intent of your message
What is rhetoric?
this tells what the subject/noun is doing
What is a verb?
a person or people being addressed by a writer or speaker; as “You”
What is the second person point of view?
"The trees waved goodbye as the wind blew".
What is personification?
this type of phrase does not have both a noun and a verb.
What is a fragment?
language that creates an image in readers' minds by addressing the five senses: sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch.
What is imagery?
a person, place, or thing
What is a noun?
This is an argument, or claim, that will be defended through your research/essay.
What is a thesis?

This sentence is a general, everyday statement.
What is a declarative sentence?
This type of essay tells a personal story of a particular experience or event and is told from the point of view of the narrator.

this is a group of sentences that all relate to one idea

This is the author's attitude towards the topic.
