Is Monkey Pox something we need to be concerned about?
Monkey Pox is becoming more prevalent in USA. It is something to be aware of. The most important thing to do practice good hand washing and personal hygiene and use protection. Wash bedding on a regular basis, and wipe down surfaces. If you have an rash or you think you have been exposed, call SHS for an appointment. There is medication to treat Monkey Pox, but it must be reported to SHS.
