LBCC students have FREE, 24/7 access to virtual care services with TimelyCare — the virtual health and well-being platform from TimelyMD, designed for college students. Students do not need insurance to access TimelyCare services.

By completing all application steps as a first time college student, you will be admitted to the First Year Experience (FYE) Program and receive free tuition through the Long Beach College Promise or Viking Advantage Program.

Helps you with a smooth transition to university life. A variety of services such as university appointments, transfer fairs, admissions workshops, and university tours are available to you.

What are Catalog Rights?
Long Beach City College has implemented a program to address hunger and housing insecurity among students. The program is supported by the Healthy Viking Initiative and will provide increased access to food, direct referrals to appropriate housing agencies, and information regarding transportation resources for LBCC students.

____is an online tool allowing students to map their entire academic path with a pre-populated roadmap. Each degree path contains a sequence of courses that can be adjusted by the student or counselor.

Through self-reported high school information at the time of application using CCC Apply (students are asked to provide their high school cumulative GPA, the highest level of English and Math they took, and the grades they earned in each of those courses)

Free, live online additional coursework support for students currently enrolled at LBCC. Using platforms such as Zoom or Skype, LBCC students can receive support for a wide variety of subjects.
