This refers to a degree-granting institution or it can also refer to a school that offers short-term training focusing on career-specific skills
What is College?
This is when a prospective student applies for admission by early deadline (before the regular admission deadline) and receives notice of acceptance, denial, or deferment with no obligation to the university to enroll, if accepted for admission.
What is Early Action?
This is a primarily two-year public institutions providing higher education and lower-level courses, granting certificates, diplomas, and associate's degrees. Many also offer continuing education programs.
What is a Community College?
This is earned after completing the equivalent of 2 years of college coursework.
What is an Associate's Degree?

This is a degree-granting institution where the academic focus is on developing the intellect and instruction in the humanities and sciences, rather than on training for a particular vocational, technical, or professional pursuit. They tend to encourage their students to study a wide range of subjects instead of focusing on one field of study.
What is a Liberal Arts College?
This is earned after completing the equivalent of 4 years of college coursework.
