Students are placed on this when they withdraw from more than 50% of their coursework for the semester.

What is a hold?
The purpose of this is to disregard a portion of a student's prior substandard academic work, up to 30 units. To be eligible students must have 24 units, 2.0 avg, 12 months past grade. This can only be granted once.
Academic Renewal
A copy of the student's official record of courses attempted/completed and their grades.
What is a Transcript?
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree for students who plan to complete a bachelor's degree at a CSU, consisting of 60 CSU transferable units.
What is an Associates Degree of Science for Transfer (AS-T)?
A specific area of study in which a student completes the required coursework to achieve a degree in that subject.
What is a Major?
Term of measurement used to describe the amount of credit a college awards upon completion of the class.
What is a unit?
A permanent "W" will be issued when you drop a class between the date designated in the Schedule of Classes, as "Last day to drop without receiving a W.
