No! Sometimes people get busy with important things and they forget to respond.

100

Your coworker asks for your phone number. Should you share it?

Yes! Often times coworkers will share phone numbers so they can reach out if they have questions, want to swap shifts, or ask if you want to hang out after work.

After graduation, you want to friend Zach and Sarah on Facebook. Is this okay?

On the telebone!

Is this appropriate to send to a friend?

No, because if someone doesn't respond, you should wait until you text back

200

Someone tells you not to text them again. You do it anyways. Is this okay?

No. If someone asks you not to text them, you should respect that and not do it.

200

Your coworker friends you on Facebook. Should you accept?

No. Even if you know them, it can make them really uncomfortable.

Your friend texts you tells you your nextdoor neighbor got sent to the hospital. He asks you if you saw him while you were at work (at Ball Memorial). You did see him there. Is it okay to tell him that?

300

Your boss makes you mad. You send them a text and tell them that. Is this appropriate?

No! You shouldn't tell your boss you are mad at them in person or over text.

We need to show respect and not bombard them with messages. It's okay if your feelings are hurt, but this is creepy.

400

You have something you want to tell your friend. They don't answer your phone call. Should you call them until they pick up?

No. If it's not an emergency, you should either leave a voicemail or send a text. People will get worried or annoyed if you continue to call.

400

Someone posts on Facebook they are applying to a job in Nutrition Services at your hospital! They ask what you think of your boss. You don't like her. Is it okay to respond to their post and say that your boss is terrible and not to apply?

No! If someone asks you on Facebook or other social media about a coworker, boss, or your workplace, you should be positive. If it is in person, you can vent a little, but don't prevent them from applying for the job if they need one.

You are on Facebook and you see that Audrey is also on. Every time you see that she is on, you send her a DM saying "hi, how are you?" Is this appropriate?

No! It's okay to message Audrey, but you should wait for a response before you ask her how she is doing. You also shouldn't message her every time she is online. That can be seen as creepy.
