False. Students should refrain from eating and drinking in the hallway to avoid messes. If it's a bathroom/drink break and students have a water bottle, a drink may be taken as long as the line is not moving. This is to avoid possible spills and for safety.

No, toys from home should stay home unless students are taking them to aftercare.

False. Without a written note, email, or Class Dojo message to office or Ms. Zakiya, students need to stick to their original dismissal plans.

Wrestling quickly gets out of hand and should not happen on the playground as someone might get injured. Tag needs to happen in the open concrete area, not on the turf or on the equipment as those are high traffic areas where students might easily become hurt.
When Zyair is on the bus, it's okay for him to stand up to talk to the person in the seat in front of him as long as he remains in his seat and is not in the aisle. True or False.
False. Zyair should remain in his seat on his bottom at all times on the bus unless it is his turn to get off the bus and the bus has stopped.
August needs a colored pencil that Santannah has. He doesn't want to walk all the way over to Santannah so he calls out for the pencil. Is it okay as long as he isn't screaming?
No, August needs to walk over to Santannah and ask for the pencil. We use library voices within our classroom and calling out is not a library voice.
Milo is feeling happy this week and would like to slap the Exit Sign as his class walks through the hall. He thinks he can hit it and avoid bumping the person in front of him so it's okay, right?
No! Students should stay in line and avoid things like jumping up to hit doorways as it causes disruptions.

No, students should stay in their seats until the end of lunch. Lunchroom assistants will come by with the trash cans to collect trash at the end of lunch. Only after trash has been collected by the lunchroom assistants may students get out of their seats.

It's a fine winter day. As Alice heads down to dismissal, she stuffs her coat into her backpack, leaving it unzipped, takes her blue folder in hand upside down, opens her snack and heads on out. What needs to be fixed with this picture?
Coats are strongly encouraged to be on at dismissal, especially in carline and more so for students standing outside, especially during poor weather. At minimum, they should be on. Blue folders should be inside backpacks with backpacks zipped to avoid important things falling out. Regardless which dismissal, snacks should not be consumed while walking through the school, on the bus, or in carline.
