What is Excel?
Initially developed to aid in the progress of computing technology by linking academic computer centers. Developed in the late 1960s with the start of ARPANET and transmitted its first message on Friday, October 29, 1969. Today is accessible by people all over the world.
What is the internet?
Used in chat communication as a way to tell another person online you plan on being friends with them forever.
What does BFF stand for?
This is one of the primary input devices used with a computer.
What is a keyboard?
A set of secret characters or words used to authenticate access to and secure a digital system.
What is a password?
A word processor published by Microsoft.
What is Microsoft Word?
Is a base-2 number system invented by Gottfried Leibniz that's made up of only two numbers or digits: 0 (zero) and 1 (one).
What is Binary?
A plug and play interface that allows a computer to communicate with peripheral and other devices. These devices cover a broad range; anything from keyboards and mice to music players and flash drives.
What is USB?
An output device that displays video images and text. Made up of circuitry, a screen, a power supply, buttons to adjust screen settings, and casing that holds all of these components.
What is a monitor?
A protection for any published work that helps to prevent that work from being used without prior authorization.
What is a copyright?
A set of lines of different widths and sizes representing data, that when read help identify the scanned object. Often used to help organize and index information or prices about an object. An example of its use is by the U.S. postal service to help speed the delivery of mail.
What is a barcode?
Computer data storage, often called storage, is a technology consisting of computer components and recording media that are used to retain digital data. It is a core function and fundamental component of computers.
What is memory?
A machine's ability to exhibit behavior indistinguishable from a human. Smart computer programs capable of accomplishing tasks and duties that demand human intelligence.
What is AI - Artificial Intelligence?
A collection of computers, servers, mainframes, network devices, peripherals, or other devices connected to allow data sharing. An example is the Internet, which connects millions of people all over the world.
What is a network?
Copying data from one computer to another, either over a network or modem.
What is downloading?
A software program to present and explore content on the World Wide Web.
What is a browser?
A family of wireless networking technologies, based on the IEEE 802.11 family of standards, which are commonly used for local area networking of devices and Internet access.
What is Wi-Fi?
Alternatively referred to as main memory, primary memory, or system memory - (RAM) random access memory.
What is RAM?
Any auxiliary or ancillary device connected to or integrated within a computer system and used to send information to or retrieve information from the computer. An input device sends data or instructions to the computer; an output device provides output from the computer to the user; and an input/output device performs both functions.
What is a peripheral?
A virtual community or profile site, a website that brings people together to talk, share ideas and interests, or make new friends.

An identifier specified as a suffix to the name of a computer file
What is a filename extension?
A digital desk -the primary workspace for a graphical user interface. It typically contains menus to perform system functions and icons that represents applications or files on the computer system.
What is a desktop?
A term used to describe the concept that flawed or nonsense input data produces nonsense output or "garbage". It can also refer to the unforgiving nature of programming, in which a poorly written program might produce nonsensical behavior.
What is GIGO?
