Stacey comes to Confirmation wearing a dress that is very short and a full face of makeup. Is this appropriate?
NO! Ladies, be sure that your dresses or skirts are not too short. There is no specific length, but use your best judgement when deciding if the dress is church appropriate.
If you can't find a modest dress or skirt to wear, you can wear a nice dress top or blouse with slacks.

As for makeup, it is fine to wear it as long as it is appropriate. We will warn you though that if you wear a lot of foundation on your forehead, it may come off on the bishop's hand when he anoints you with oil.

When you arrive at your assigned pew, there will be a packet there for you with three important things inside. What are those three things? (Must name all 3 for full points)
1) Your NAME TAG which you must immediately put on and wear throughout the Mass
2) Your YELLOW CARD with sacramental info that will go into parish records.

Approximately, how long does it take to get from All Saints Church to the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica? (Need to be with 5 mins of the correct answer)
40 minutes...BUT you have to consider a few other things before planning when you need to leave:
- You don't live at All Saints so you may live closer or farther from the Basilica
- You will need to find parking
- You will need to make sure you have all of your family with you
- You will need to find your seats
- You may need to go to the bathroom beforehand and there might be a line...
Mom Moment: Go beforehand! The Mass may last up to 2 hrs and you shouldn't be going during because you might miss something!

Pentecost
Acts 2:1-8 - Apostles gathered in a house, a strong wind swept through the house, tongues as of fire rested over each of them, they were filled with the Holy Spirit, immediately they began to praise God in many different languages.
Now this doesn't mean that you are going to be able to speak in different languages like the apostles after you are confirmed, but it does represent that you will have all the gifts needed to spread God's love and word.
