What is the form of Confirmation?
the words of the Bishop, “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.”
How does the Bishop confirm?
He extends his hands over the person to be confirmed and calls upon the Holy Spirit. Saying:
“(Name)…be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Candidate responds “Amen”
Bishop says, “Peace be with you.”
Candidate responds, “And with your spirit.”
Why does the Bishop anoint in the form of the cross?
The Bishop anoints the forehead in the form of a cross to remind us that we belong to Christ and that we must defend our faith with gratitude for Christ’s redeeming death on the cross.
How is Christ present in the Eucharistic?
He is present in a true real way. At Mass, the bread and wine are transformed into Jesus’ body and blood so what we receive is no longer bread or wine at all – it is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ.
What is required to receive Holy Communion worthily?
1. We must be a Baptized Catholic and believe that we are in fact receiving Jesus
2. Must be in the state of grace, that is, without any unconfessed mortal sins on our soul.
3. We must fast from food and drink (except water and medicine) for one hour before receiving Holy Communion
What is required to make a good confession?
1. Sorrow for sins
2. Resolution to avoid sin in the future.
3. Confess all mortal sins.
What are the 4 marks of the Church?

How is the Church One?
The Church is ONE because of her source, Christ. Catholics share one faith, one Baptism, one Head on earth and one sacrifice of the Mass.
