The courage and strength of will to do what you know you should do, even if that means personal loss or suffering

It give you the courage to do what is right even when it is very difficult
What is Fortitude?
This washes away the our original sin when we receive the outward sign of washing with water and are filled inwardly with the sanctifying Grace through the Holy Spirit.
What is Baptism?
A loyalty to God that manifests as generous love and affectionate obedience. This is the gift that allows you to love and worship God as he deserves to be loved and worshipped.
What is Piety?
The power by which we firmly and constantly long for what we were placed on earth to do; to praise God and to serve him; and for our true happiness, which is finding our fulfillment in God; and for our final home: in God.
What is Hope?
The power to trust that God will give you eternal l ife and all the help necessary along the way

It empowers you to decide what is good or best and choose accordingly.
What is Prudence?
This type of sin is defined as:
a. we have done something that is seriously wrong
b. we know that it is seriously wrong
c. we freely choose to do it anyway
What is Mortal sin?
Helps you grasp God's greatness. It fills you with enormous respect for God and you dread above all things, offending Him or being separated from Him.
What is Fear of the Lord (Reverence)?
The power by which we, who have been loved first by God, can give ourselves to God so as to be united with him and can accept our neighbor for God's sake as unconditionally and sincerely as we accept ourselves.

The power to trust God completely

It empowers you to control your desire for pleasure.
What is Temperance?
This type of sin can be forgiven through prayer and receiving the Eucharist but can still separate us from God
What is venial sin?
The ability to discern what is true, right and lasting. Wisdom enables you to see life from God's perspective. it helps you establish right priorities in life and lead you to think and act in a mature way.
