The Commandments
These commandments are all about our relationship with God.
What are the first three commandments?
After each article in the Creed, Martin Luther writes these words in the small catechism, before elaborating.
What does this mean?
Lutherans believe there are this number of Sacraments.

In the Lord's prayer, we use this phrase to address God.

During this time of sharing, conversations centered primarily around our love for school.
What is "highs and lows"?
You shall not murder.
What is the 5th commandment?
The One who continues to work in the Church in the world today.
Who (or what) is the Holy Spirit?
When we receive either Sacrament, we receive this gift from God.
What is forgiveness?
This, which we ask for in the Lord's prayer, gives us everything we need for living.
What is "our daily bread"?
This natural event canceled what was supposed to be our SECOND class meeting, way back in September.
You shall not covet your neighbors...stuff.
What is the 10th commandment?
The creator of heaven and earth.
Who is God the Father?
This practice, while not a sacrament on its own (for Lutherans), is done at the beginning of most Lutheran worship services.
What is Confession and Forgiveness
Meaning, "truly" we say this at the conclusion of our prayers.
What is "Amen!"
Another name for "confirmation" - this phrase is what this class leads us to do.
What is "Affirmation of Baptism"?
Something from God that is lifted up in each commandment.

Finalized around the year 390 AD, this is a statement of belief spoken most Sundays.

Though they appear to be bread and wine, we believe that we eat this during holy communion.
