Highs of my spring semester
1. Meeting with new people and making friends
2. Speaking with many alumni whether its through information sessions or interviews
3. Exploring boston by walking or riding the T

2. Using the academic catalogue of a certain year for the major of interest
3. Take into consideration how many classes you have already taken/semesters already completed
4. Any transfer credits coming into college
5. Note any concentrations or minors that you wish to explore, but discuss with the academic advisor if it is a possible plan
What I have learned about succeeding in college
1. Never forget to take the chance to explore your interest through clubs
2. Communication is very important and helpful
3. Step outside of your comfort zone
Co-curricular experiences
1. I haven’t been able to get involved in clubs this semester
2. Though I hope to try out a club sport next semester and a few clubs that speaks out to my interest (maybe one related to my career and one related to my interest outside of my career)
How I chose my summer/fall classes
1. Speak with upperclassmen that might be taking the classes or have already taken the classes that I would be taking next semester
2. Check for any courses that I can get out of the way by referring to my degree audit and NEU dashboard over the summer semesters

Obstacles I have faced this semester
1. Finding a study spot that I can always go to
2. Getting used to the campus
3. Finding the right balance between work and relaxation
4. Getting enough sleep
How my values, interest, personality, and skills relate to my exploration process
1. Reaching out and communicating with others have helped me declare my major
2. Having a clear plan, but also giving myself flexibility
3. Needing a clear reason before I eliminate a major I am interested in exploring has made it difficult for me to narrow everything down very fast
Lows of my spring semester
1. Getting used to the campus
2. Trying to improve in especially one of my class
3. Trying to get used to the weather even though I grew up in New York. The weather here is much colder.
Major exploration and continued exploration
1. After speaking with many alumni, I was able to declare as a combined major in Economics and Business Administration
2. I will be taking a language class to see if I want to minor in one
3. I will also be trying out a bit of the different business concentrations offered when fulfilling my core requirements to figure out exactly which concentration I wish to pursue
