20 seconds (or you can sing "happy birthday" in your head twice, or the ABCs once, or if you wanna get really into it No Scrubs by TLC is a great choice)
The water should be 100o (which I promise you is not as hot as it sounds)

If a customer asks you about an allergen or ingredient in a food product you are sampling, how should you respond?
First, ask them if it is a preference or an allergy
How do you properly clean your cart at the end of the day?
Put away all items that was on cart, spray Multi Surface cleaner (pink stuff) and wipe, spray with Q-san just before putting the cart away and DO NOT WIPE!
What is the maximum temperature for cold holding TCS food?

What do you do if you get locked in a freezer?
Push the button on the door HARD, or if that doesn't work, there is a switch you can flip to trigger the alarm outside the door
How do you calibrate a thermometer? What do you do if it doesn't come down to the correct temperature?
Make an ice water slurry and stick your thermometer in and wait for it to show the final temp. If it is not correct you need to twist the knut until it is at the correct temperature while in ice water
If a customer asks about an ingredient in a food product you are sampling and it is just a preference, how should you respond?
You can go over the ingredient label with them
What is one thing you should do before turning in your closed paperwork at the end of a shift?
Check it over! Make sure there are no oopsies

How do you test the Q-san at the 3 compartment sink?
Fill the sanitize basin with Q-san (should be using cold water), grab a testing strip from the strip storage container above it, dip it in the solution for 8-10 seconds before comparing the color on the test strip range plate.

Let them know you can get a manager to help them with that question. If they read the label themselves and decide to sample then you may give them a sample

Both are by business center, right when you round the corner to go to the break room. Anyone can use these! They are quite literally life saving.
If you have two products on your cart and a customer is allergic to one but not the other and insists on sampling it, how should you respond?
Let them know there may be a possibility of cross contamination, but if they insist you can offer them a sample
