This is not to be utilized by itself in the performance of lockout.
What is tagout?
This team member is responsible for knowing that lockout is being performed on a piece of equipment they operate.
What is affected employee?
This color lock is used for operations personnel.
What is yellow/gold?
A line valve, A block, electric circuit breaker
what is an energy isolating device?
During this step, authorized employee will check to make sure equipment is at zero state.
What is Verify Isolation or Step 7?
This can only be performed by appropriate supervisor after it has been verified that employee is off - site.
What is lock removal?
This team member is responsible for the lockout of equipment they are servicing.
What is an authorized employee?
This color of lock is used for mechanical personnel.
What is blue?
A document stating names, dates, times, and locations of energy isolating devices.
What is a lock, tag and try sheet?
During this step, authorized employees will attach his/her lockout lock and tag to the isolation device.
What is Lockout Tagout or step 5?
This may be conducted while equipment is in service and does not require lockout.

This team of employees ensures that all lockout tagout procedures are followed.
