How do I know what the main idea is in a paragraph?
It stands out for one of these reasons:
It summarizes what the paragraph is about.
It conveys big ideas.
If you try removing it from the paragraph the paragraph loses a lot of its meaning.

Ambiguous means there is not an obvious answer.
For me, math was ambiguous most of the time. It felt like most answers were hidden in methods and formulas I did not really understand. You might feel that way too, or maybe you feel that way about my class (no judgement!)
