Describe the difference between home health and home care

Home Health is skilled services covered under Medicare generally following a qualified hospital/NH visit. Medicare pays in full if you require skilled care (skilled nursing or therapy services)

Home Care is assistance with ADLs and generally paid for privately. It might be for people who are getting older and want to age at home, are chronically ill, recovering from surgery, or disabled. Home care services includes: Personal care, such as help with bathing, washing your hair, or getting dressed.
