What time does school begin?
School begins at 7:45 a.m.
What kind of shoes are you allowed to wear?
You can wear tennis shoes of any color.
What is the rule on sharing food in the cafe at lunch?
You cannot share food.
What do you need in order to go to the bathroom?
The blue bathroom pass that each teacher has.
What is the policy on YOUR privacy on a district computer?
There is none. The District reserves the right to monitor, inspect, copy, review and store said devices.
What time does school end?
School ends at 2:55 p.m.
What happens if you're not in uniform?
You will be sent to the principal's office and given school appropriate clothing.
What will happen if a student orders delivery food (Doordash, Uber Eats, Postmates, ect…) during the day?
Food that is delivered to the school will be confiscated and parents/guardians will be contacted.
When are headphones specifically NOT allowed in school?
For safety reasons, headphones are not allowed to be used during passing periods.
How many warnings will you get before your phone is confiscated?
If it is the second offense, the student may reclaim the phone at the end of the school day from the main office. Infraction is logged in main office.
What time does school end on an early release day?
School ends at 1:45 on an early release day.
When do you have to wear a mask?
You must wear a mask whenever you are INSIDE the building.
Lunch recess will be outside as long as the temperature is above what temp?
Students will go outside for recess unless the weather indicates that the wind-chill feels below 20 degrees or the weather conditions are too harsh for outdoor play.
What will happen if some ones personal items are stolen during the school day?
Nothing. Leave your valuables at home.
When and where is the only place you are supposed to use your phone?
Students may use the student phone in the front office for an emergency only.
Can you wear ripped jeans?
You can wear ripped jeans if the rips are below your fingertips when you stand up with your arms to your sides.
Can you use your cell phone during lunchtime?
You cannot use your phone in the cafeteria or outside during lunch.
Consequences for behaviors in school include when you are actually IN school. What other 4 times can a student be held accountable for their behavior?
On school property (playground), in school vehicles (bus), at school activities or sanctioned events (field trip), or that happen outside the school day but affect another student’s sense of safety (social media).
What behavior will end in a loss of computer privileges?
Students who intentionally access inappropriate sites or vandalize either the hardware or files will receive disciplinary action that may result in loss of computer privileges.
What time do you arrive to school on late start days (snow days, etc.)?
Can I wear a hoodie if it's cold inside?
You can only wear a hoodie if it has the CLSA logo on it.
When can you leave the lunchroom?
You can leave the lunchroom ONLY when you're dismissed or when you have a pass.
Is writing something mean about another person still considered bullying?
Yes. Writing something mean, saying something mean, hurting, or threatening to hurt someone else is bullying.
Is it considered an "emergency phone call" if you're calling because you left your stuff at home?
No. The office will give you a warning or take away your phone if you call because you left something at home.
