What is articulation?
1. Articulation is a cooperative effort among Irvine Valley College, area high schools and Regional Occupational Programs (ROPs). 2. Articulation links high school and ROP classes with certificate and associate degree programs at IVC. 3. The goal is for students to move from one course, program, or educational level to the next without loss of time or resources.

1. Articulation agreements are made among area high schools, ROPs, and IVC after the instructors determine that the curriculum is comparable in content and rigor. 2. Students are granted college credit for coursework completed in high school when they enroll at Irvine Valley College in an articulated program and satisfy defined academic requirements (3 units of residency).
