Give and example of folk, popular, local, and material culture
Folk encompasses traits such as dress models, dwellings, traditions and institutions of usually small traditional communities. Popular culture encompasses dress, diet and music based on today’s ever changing urban based culture, usually media based. Local culture is a group of people in a particular place or community who see themselves as a collective, and try to use such traits to distinguish uniqueness. Material culture is the art, housing clothes sports, and foods or other such traits that construct a group of people.
