You need security to a specific menu path to print these fields on the Student Schedules report.

Typically they'd add a second meet so the section is associated with 2 periods.

Add requests for all the possible courses, then run the Walk-In Scheduler using the Ignore option. Try each of the possible courses individually with the rest to see which would result in a conflict-free schedule.

Our 8th graders get to take a language class and have it count towards graduation if they pass. I don't want it to impact their GPAs, but I want to award 1.0 earned credits and have it look as if they'd taken it as a freshman. Demonstrate how this would be set up on a course.

Enter GLO on course. Check to have it included in the GPA (calc). Assign the appropriate number of earned credits, but award 0 GPA credits so that it doesn't factor into the GPA calculation.

A student is scheduled into an AP Lit class right now and wants to drop it. When I'm looking at the option on the scheduling screen, I see Unschedule, Replace, and Change. These all sound like they would remove AP Lit. What is the difference between these options?

Unschedule > Drops the scheduled class for a course request.

Replace > Drop the class and add a section of a different course in its place.

Change > Drop the class and add a section of the same course.

I really want to make sure that my students in special ed are distributed across classes evenly so that they can receive the most support possible from their teachers. What is a report I could use to check if classes are balanced? Show how to set that up.

My school made a ton of last minute changes to schedules before school even started. When I look at student profiles and transactions, it's already a mess and we haven't even started school yet. Name 2 utilities I could use to 1. get rid of classes that were never attended and 2. make sure students have an add transaction for all their classes.

1. Mass Delete Dropped Scheduling Records will clear out classes that have been dropped. Since school didn't start yet, these can be deleted completely.

2. Once it's the first day of school, run the Mass Create Initial Add Scheduling Transactions utility to make sure all student-class records have an add transaction.
