GCC and College Village enforce, the New York State Clean Indoor Act, stating that you can not smoke or vape inside the building and must be 25 feet away from any building when you are smoking or vaping. Sharing space can be challenging, and it becomes more challenging if you do not communicate your needs and concerns. If you want to have a guest stay overnight or you plan to have a frequent visitor, you should do this.

Having suitable living conditions are important for your academics. Avoiding talking about an issue does not make it disappear. Running from it does not help prepare you for similar situations in the future.
