How do you treat dehydration?
drink water, get in shade or ac
How do you treat frostbite?
put in warm water, don't move it while thawing, wait 20-30 minutes or until skin is reddish purple
How to treat a cut
Clean it out, put antibiotic ointment on it, bandage it
How do you treat heat stroke?
put in a cold shower, put ice packs/wet towels on neck and armpits, keep out of sun.
How do you treat insect bites?
Don’t scratch, use ointment if it itches, use antibiotic ointment and bandage
How do you treat scratches?
Clean the wound out, put some antibiotic ointment on it, bandage it
How do you treat heat exhaustion?
drink water, lie down in shade or ac, take off extra clothing, put wet towels on persons head
How do you treat tick bites?
Carefully remove tick, clean bite, put on antibiotic ointment, freeze tick in plastic bag(in case you show signs of Lyme or other problems)
How do you treat blisters?
keep it intact, cover it in moleskin. if it needs to be popped, use a sterile needle to pop it, bandage it up.
How do you treat hypothermia?
get out of the cold, insulate the person, warm them up, give warm drinks.
How do you treat snakebites?
Identify snake, keep bite below heart, call 911, clean wound, try to get medical assistance.
