Every year, our chapter tables at the largest organization fair Baylor offers. From 9 pm to 12 am, midnight, all the student organizations are spread across campus to recruit members. From this event, our sisters were also able to seek out organizations that they could participate in outside of aKDPhi.
Late Night
Every semester, the venue for this event or dinner rotates between Houston, Austin, and Dallas without fail, a tradition upheld for years. Despite the 2-3 hour driving distance between cities, it doesn't deter us from maintaining our commitment to meet with alumnae.
Starting in 2020, our sisters have actively engaged in and showcased their talents at a council-sponsored event, an occasion where all the Greek organizations within the Unified Greek Council (UGC) gather to share cultural cuisine. For many years, our chapter was the only UGC chapter that strolled and performed at the UGC events.
UGC Foodfest
Baylor won these two awards at Convention 2022. To date, Baylor is the only chapter to sweep both awards in a singular year at Convention.
Anita Tso Philanthropy Award and the Cultural Awareness Award
One of the best ways to provide new members an insight into our values is by hosting an informational. Every semester, the sisters of aKDPhi host two _____ sessions where we share our pillars and values, as well as our philanthropy. ______ is a time when the new members can ask the current members any questions or concerns they have and a time where we can express to any potential members why aKDPhi is important to us.
Informationals
This position in the house is responsible for connecting the active house with all of the alumnae. Every month, a newsletter is created by this position to update our alumnae about what has been happening in our sorority and our goals for the next month.
Alumnae Chair
Our sisters collaborated with the Alpha Gamma chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon to co-host a monthly social event within the Unified Greek Council (UGC) community. The event served as a platform for bonding and strengthening inter-organizational connections within the UGC community.

For 3 consecutive years, from 2019 to 2021, Baylor University's Unified Greek Council honored the Baylor chapter of aKDPhi with ______ award.
Chapter of the Year Award
Every year, our chapter tables at this event to recruit potential members and showcase a multicultural Greek presence on campus. This event showcases our sorority to first-year students interested in joining a sorority and becoming part of an Asian interest community. It highlights our sorority as we engage with freshmen eager to learn about our history and core values.
Mosaic Mixer
To celebrate sisterhood and tradition, the sisters of aKDPhi organized ______ at Milo to honor the 25th anniversary of being chartered at Baylor University. Alumnae from all around the states joined our active house to commemorate the legacy and enduring spirit of aKDPhi.
Founder's Day Brunch
Baylor University hosts a campus-wide service event called ____ every semester, and the sisters of aKDPhi always enjoy participating. Our chapter, along with other organizations, is assigned a service site for the day.

2020 and 2022
Every fall semester at Baylor, our chapter tables with our fellow Coalition of Asian Student (CAS) organizations to recruit the Baylor community to join our sorority. This event is primarily an Asian interest event and is an opportunity to advertise our chapter’s recruitment season.
Asian Mosaic Night
Each semester, we highly encourage our alumnae to be involved in our New Member Process. This effort aims to deepen the bond with every sister who has joined Baylor aKDPhi. We focus on fostering connections and understanding family lines to cultivate a more comprehensive sense of sisterhood.
Trained Alumnae
Every semester, our sisters support other Greek organizations on campus by attending their chapter's new member ______. At these events, we are invited to stroll and attend their after celebration to commemorate their organization's achievements.
Unveiling/Probate
This initiative was established to prevent burnout among sisters who hold various responsibilities. Allocating this day each week to allow sisters to reset and recharge has significantly contributed to the smooth operation of our chapter, mitigating conflicts that may arise from fatigue.
No Work Day
The sisters of aKDPhi at Baylor University enthusiastically organize an event called _____every semester, fostering sisterhood and building strong connections among members, particularly with new additions to the sisterhood. By encouraging new members to share their interests, aspirations, and unique qualities, the event becomes a special moment of shared experiences and individual stories. This event serves as a platform for building meaningful relationships, breaking down barriers, and creating a supportive network that extends beyond the event itself.
Speed Dating
The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) chapter was established in 2015, with Baylor serving as the host chapter. From 2015-2017, this alumna was UTA’s Pre-Associate Advisor, played a key role in UTA’s growth.
