This boss is one of the primordial creatures that appeared underground once the First Flame came to exist. Due to the power of his soul, when this boss first died he was able to come back to life, becoming a living mass of conjoined skeletons, earning him the title "first of the dead". He learned to harness the power of his soul, creating a dark power capable of bringing death to any living being, infusing it within his sword to create a weapon of lethal toxicity. The Chosen Undead finds him within the Tomb of the Giants.
