What is Industrialization? How does Industrialization effect communities of color?
Industrialization is the process of producing products through factory industries. Factories like data centers often consume water at high rates and produce toxins in the water supply, air, and foods we consume.
How did politics influence the migration of Hurricane Katrina?
Bush was on vacation and did not give a hoot about Black people dying in Katrina. The government knew Katrina was coming and failed to notify the state of Louisiana. For nearly a month Bush did nothing while victims struggle to survive. Police officers and Firemen were not forced to come. Even when victims migrated to the superdome they were subjected to inhumane conditions and suffered murder, rape, and disease.
How are Americans complicit in the Genocide/War in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?
Americans buy and use electronics like phones and computers and luxury items like diamonds which fuels the conflict in the congo. Congolese people historically have faced oppression from Europeans who continue to steal resources like cobalt, coltan, oil, diamonds, rubber and copper which are used to create products americans buy. As long as we buy these products the conflict will continue.
How are Americans complicit in the Palestinian Genocide/Pollution of Minority water supply.
Americans consume products from Fast-Ford and Big Businesses like Adidas. As we give our money to those businesses they use those funds and send them to business and the Israeli Government who then buys weapons used in the genocide. Americans also use AI processors like chat-gpt who consumes water supplies from Minority communities and leave behind toxins in the water supply.
