The following day! Per your site directors, your goal is to contact the student that week, not to wait until the following task, so that you can avoid term rolls!
Role Play! Your student very much wants clinicals and labs on certain days, "just for the first semester at least". Use LAER to understand their reasoning and to help them build a Plan B or C if their Plan A doesn't work.
Should ask why they want this schedule, if it's a dealbreaker to not have clinicals on those days, if they can move their schedule, if they have supports to assist. (role play student is looking for childcare)
