OP shipments require POE, this can be in a form of DHL AWB or Export Declaration if it has been exported correctly. 

Secondly, the dummy OP number can be used SOP was decalred on the export entry or the importer was private individual and therefore would need to be held JQ.

When would you know to release a shipment JQ?

Checking the customer K.C should give a clear indication if you can set the shipment SD. Certain keycodes and CPCs are not permitted to be sent for local clearance. if the K.C shows N to local clearance, all shipments must remain JQ.

how much contact should you make before raising a GEMA?

Make sure you check for relevant CMF details, google the company in question and always check GEMA before sending to the GEMA pots.

for example, leaving a voicemail and sending to GM pot is not elligable to open for a GEMA.

What do you do when an undeliverable bounce back email does not appear on the image panel?

From time to time, an undeliverable message may not appear on the image panel, in these instances you can check by going onto MCT and seating for the AWB, if we notice the email is instance we should attempt to contact for an alternative email / contact and a CMF should be updated.

How do you clear a file during cut off if the revenue is above 2000GBP?

any shipments with revenue over 2000GBP must be approved by a supervisor for clearance, you will need to seek approval if the duty is over 2000GBP and PVA applies also. or if the customer is using their own DAN account you will not need to gain sup approval.

How do you distinguish between a BBX mother and a BBX baby AWB?

We refer to Sherloc in order to confirm the BBX Mother AWB, by clicking on the service code on Sherloc the if 'breakbulk mother' is mentioned, this will mean the AWB is a mother AWB.

what is the difference between the DV support and the PCA amendments teams?

PCA will amend entries cleared incorrectly where the customers deferment has been used and entries where nil revenue is due, the customer will email ukavipostclr@dhl.com.
DV Support will only amend entries that have been cleared on DHL deferment account.

Would we use the value on the invoice or the AWB if there was a mismatch and the customer not confirming?

We would always use the value on the invoice, as this provides us with more accurate splits, tariffs and details about the value (in comparison to the airway bill).

Would the customer need to provide new paperwork if they gave us a new value that is not shown on any ppwk?

Yes, If a customer provides a new value that is not present on any available paperwork, they would need to provide a new invoice showing the correct value.

What would you do with a file that is for PCC?

PCC agents should be the only Agents to work files that require any customer contact for KADE, thefore please allocate back to KADE, this also applies to any rejects and validation failures you see during your working day.

What do you do if the hub record shows 'MOU referral'?

if the hub record shows as 'MOU Referral' in the held section, this is a CCT hold and must be transferred to the Agent on CCT dealing with MOUs, this can be found on the job roster.

Do we use CPC 6123F05 for altered goods that are being returned to the UK?

Goods that are being returned to the UK after being repaired or altered should be being imported using an OP CPC. Therefore we cannot use 6123F05 for altered goods.

Does the hand carried statement need to be on the template?

AS long as we have the answers to all questions it can be in any format. - Check all answers to avoid rejects, make sure your information is easy for the validating team to understand and only put answers in your notes if this is not clear on the image panel.
