What is the plan of salvation?
God loves the world and wants a personal relationship with everyone, but sin separates us from God. God is holy, but cannot go against His word. Therefore, Jesus Christ died so sin would be a barrier between God and His people. Man must put their faith in Jesus Christ to gain reconciliation and forgiveness. Man must follow Jesus by surrendering one's life and repenting. When this happens, the Spirit of God lives in the person and the person can live a life pleasing to God.

(NIV) 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
