The Bible tells us that whenever a person accepted Christ, they were immediately baptized in water. Why do you think that when it comes to children, we wait until they're a certain age before baptizing them?

We wait to baptize children until they are old enough to demonstrate that they understand what it means to accept Christ in their hearts and live for Him. 

Choosing to follow Jesus is an individual and personal choice. Even if you are raised in church, you have to make the decision yourself to serve Christ and be baptized in His name.
