WHAT IS DISCOVER CHAMPIONS?

Discover Champions is our new all-in-one family platform. It’s your single stop to:

 • Enroll your child

 • Manage schedules

 • Make payments

 • Stay connected with your program

100

Will One-Time-Credits still be available for families per program?

Yes, OTC will be available—one per School Year and one per Summer Program

100

The Primary Account Holder is the person who:

Signs the enrollment agreement

 • Manages schedules

• Has financial responsibility

 • Receives official billing communications

100

Are families allowed to have a blank schedule in Discover Champions if they ONLY use us sparingly like a week every 2 to 3 months, minimum week or breaks only?

Any new families will need to register for a schedule at time of enrollment, however if they end their schedule, they can continued to be enrolled in Discover Champions and add a schedule when necessary

. In order for staff to check in using their PIN Codes, the SD has to be logged in; what if the SD is not in that day? How will staff be able to check in?

The staff member (teacher or Site Director) who is managing child check-in should be logged into Discover Champions. Additional teachers can use their PIN Code to check-in when they arrive. The teacher or Site Director who is logged in can navigate to Manage > People, and click PIN Check In for other staff to enter their PIN to check-in. See Attendance & SISO Quick Guide for details.

When will Discover Champions launch?

February 2, 2026

200

Can sites remove days if families request changes after Wednesday?

No. All schedule changes must be made before billing closes on Wednesday. After Wednesday, the family is committed to that week’s schedule.

200

If subsidy families switch a day for their schedule, will they be billed a drop-in fee? Will they be responsible for this or will their co-pay cover it?

If the subsidy agency allows additional fees, then they will be billed the fee. If not, the fee would be discounted.

200

Does Offline Mode only apply for capturing attendance or will teams be able to access contacts in offline mode?

You will be able to access contacts in Offline Mode by clicking “Picked Up By” and generating a list of authorized adults who can pick up.

Can I host my Launch Party before January 30th?

We do not recommend hosting the Launch Party prior to January 30th since it is very likely January 30th will be the day families receive their activation emails. Hosting the Launch Party before families receive their activation email on January 30th, families may not get the help and support they are hoping for. Review the Discover Champions Family Launch Party Quick Guide for support.

300

What's the deadline for parents to set their schedules prior to the launch date?

January 21, 2026

300

When are Drop in Fees assessed?

Drop-in fees are assessed for any added days after the schedule is locked on Wednesday.

300

What happens if the primary account holder doesn’t activate their account by launch?

Site Directors will be able to check children in and out if families haven’t activated their account. SDs will also have visibility to which families have not yet activated their account and will be able to send reminders. If families don’t activate their account, they will be unable to pay invoices which leads to possible disenrollment. Balances will migrate from FMS and will not be swept by auto-pay if carried over, so it’s important they activate their account as soon as possible!

300

Is the SISO site QR code a daily changing live code, or can it be copied and posted for families?

The system will not allow families to check their child in/out prior to physically arriving to drop off or pick up their child. The Site can print their specific SISO QR Code for families to scan if a SISO Station device is not available. See Attendance & SISO Quick Guide for details of how to manage your SISO Station.

300

Will my site get any devices or iPads?

Specific sites will be receiving devices between January 12-16. Follow Instructions listed in 12/29 & 1/5 Quick News. The number of devices a site will receive is based on the site’s AWE and current existing devices the site has. A site should have one device for every 75 children.

Tech Track iPads will not have access to Discover Champions as those devices are child-facing and they should not access child information

400

Can sponsors add additional days after the schedule locks on Wednesday?

Yes

400

If we are checking the children in and out on the iPads do, we still use CSR sheets?

Yes, Discover Champions will not replace CSR attendance.

Discover Champions is used for attendance, scheduling, and billing, while the CSR remains the primary tool for supervision.

400

If a family needs to remove a schedule for a full week, can they do that within Discover Champions?

If the family has a weekly schedule, but needs to remove a full week, they will need to contact Family Support to remove the schedule for that specific week. The system will not allow a family to have a blank schedule.

400

If there is a Site Director who is on PTO or on leave, what is the best practice for reviewing new enrollments and welcoming new families?

When a SD is on PTO or leave, the Area Manager will be responsible for checking the site’s New Registration Group in Discover Champions and welcoming new families. Enrollment data will still be available on the Family Dashboard, but SDs and Area Managers should refer to Discover Champions when welcoming families. See Enrollment & Scheduling SOP for details (update on 1/12).

400

Will Discover Champions have an option to send an email to all families enrolled?

Yes, Discover Champions allows Site Directors to send Announcements to families. Announcements can be used for weekly updates, reminders, newsletters, etc. Announcements also can be sent to individuals, groups, or all families. Learn more in the Family Communication SOP & Quick Guide.

500

Will teacher check in on Discover Champions replace clocking in on Workday?

No

500

Will families need to complete digital enrollment forms again?

When families migrate, they will receive an activation email to set up their account in Discover Champions and complete enrollment forms. Enrollment and state licensing forms will need to be completed in Discover Champions again and will not migrate.

500

Will families be able to change their schedule after schedules lock on Wednesday? I saw somewhere they could change their schedule with 4 calendar days notice.

The standard remains that families set their schedule by Wednesday for the following week, and we will continue to communicate this expectation to families. However, the system allows families to add or swap days with 4 calendar days’ notice (for example, changes made on Thursday may still apply to select days the following week). DISCOVER CHAMPIONS FAQs, TALKING POINTS & FAMILY GUIDANCE Even though the system allows this, we will not communicate this ability to families. Families will not receive refunds or credits for any days after schedules lock.

500

There is functionality to include incident reports in Discover Champions. Should we be using this function in conjunction with our existing incident reporting SOP?

The functionality to upload incident reports in Discover Champions will not currently be utilized. Continue to follow our Incident Reporting SOP for guidance on how to complete and communicate incidents

When will Site Directors and Area Managers have access to Discover Champions to set up groups, validate site settings, generate staff PIN Codes, etc.

The Family Portal will be shut down January 26.

Site Directors and Families will not have access to the Family Portal.

DISCOVER CHAMPIONS FAQs, TALKING POINTS & FAMILY GUIDANCE January 30th – We anticipate Site Directors, Teachers and Families will gain access to activate accounts in Discover Champions. Site Directors can login to Discover Champions to validate site settings, children entered accurately, set up groups, generate staff PIN Codes, run reports and practicing navigating the system.

February 2nd – Discover Champions Launch Day! Discover Champions should be utilized for attendance, scheduling, and billing moving forward.
