This sidekick is a bit of a pest to the young future King of Pride Rock. This flying creature constantly bothers the main character.
Zazu - The Lion King

Maleficent - Sleeping Beauty
She is not like other girls, and that gets her love, a library, and several musical numbers sang around her, even when she is trying to eat.

This villain's mortal enemy was a peasant with a monkey. And he lost. He ended up in a lamp, which is not even as close to as humilating as losing to A PEASANT WITH A MONKEY.
Jafar - Aladdin
This hero is blamed for his father´s death, so he runs away, and lives with two hippies in the jungle, before he is persuaded by an old friend to make his long awaited return.
