If the volume of a prism is 240cm cubed, and we know that the length of the prism is 15cm and the width is 4cm, what is the height of the prism?
If we know the lenght and the width of the prism, we can multiply them together to find the base area. A=15 x 4, therefore the base area is 60cm squared. 60 is a product of 240 and goes into 240 four times, therefore the height of the prism is 4cm.
