A level 10 party is making their way through a treacherous dungeon. The rogue hasn't been doing their job properly and the gang set off a flame geyser trap hidden in the wall. Taken by surprise everyone fails their save except for the Monk, meaning they take 27 damage while everyone else takes 54.

The Monk and the Rogue will both have Evasion, meaning the Rogue would have also taken half, and the Monk will have taken none.

Seeing some potential, they use their Charm ability on Parhellion to try and turn the tide. Unfortunately, he only has 12 Wisdom, so does not manage to pass the save and must heed its commands for the next full day.

You cannot multiclass into Cleric if you have less than 13 wisdom.

The party are in a real rough spot and find themselves dealing with some Aberrations. A gang of Nothics, Red Slaads, and a couple of Otyughs have the party in quite the bind. The nothics have been spying on the group before they got here, using their Weird Insight skill to learn small facts and tidbits about the party (except for the Cleric who had a Bracelet of Charm Immunity) and feeding them back to their companions. As the encounter progresses into direct combat the otyughs use their telepathic abilities to try and send intimidating messages to members of the party, but the party do not back down and mentally responding that they will fight back no matter the cost! Through claw attacks, tentacle slams, nefarious necrotic gazes and malicious bites, one of the red slaads catches one of the party off guard and they fail their constitution save, being infected with a miniscule slaad egg. All of the horrendous creatures are eventually fought back, and the cleric manages to find out about the wizard's slaad egg infection. If it had not been cured from them and allowed to gestate for the next three months, it would have killed them in one fell swoop as it ate its way out of his internal organs.

Otyughs only have LIMITED Telepathy, they can send messages and images out, but cannot retrieve them back from whoever they sent them out to.
