When we put unrefined surgar cane as an energy source for yeast in our fermentation experiment, what is your hypothesis? (compare with the yeast fed with brown sugar)
If yeast is fed unrefined sugar cane instead of brown sugar, then the rate of fermentation will be different because unrefined sugar cane contains additional plant materials, minerals, and impurities that may affect how easily yeast can access and metabolize the sugars.
