What are the expectations for using the bathroom and water?
Use the hand signals, put your name where you're going to go, and use the time wisely.
What is the first consequence that Ms. Smith would give you if you're not following the agreements?
A warning, she talks to you and reminds you to do the right thing.
How should you enter the classroom in the morning?
Quietly
What do you do when the timer goes off?
quietly put your hands on your head, face the teacher and stay quiet
Where should you keep your school work?
In your school folder or in binder.
When is a bad time to talk?
During Ms. Smith's lessons, if someone else is talking, during DEAR, during testing time, during an emergency, outside of permission.
What is the expectation when doing work on the computer?
Quietly, focus on yourself, on the correct website.
What is the 2nd consequence?
You get a redirect card (if needed) and remind yourself to do the right thing.
When should you come right up to me?
LITERALLY NEVER. But...if there is an emergency: bleeding, throw up, you found my phone, you're saving me from danger, or you have a REALLY cool gift for me
What is the homework turn in process on Fridays?
We get all our homework out, put them in order as listed on the screen with the homework sheet in front, we go to the back to staple it, and put it under our name. Then we leave our vocab journal in the back and answer the question on the board OR fill out our Smith Store sheet.
What are some recess expectations?
Hands to ourselves, be kind to others, and listen to the supervision aides.
What should you do if you need a new pencil?
Raise the dull pencil in the air, wait for the teacher to nod their head for permission, quietly get up and walk to the pencil station. Drop the dull pencil in the dull box and grab a new pencil.
When could you visit the library and how do you ask?
Any time you're done with your classwork, and using the L hand signal.
Tell me everything you know about the Smith Store and the money in our classroom?
You get paid every two weeks for doing your job an extra stuff and you can have money taken away. The Smith store is open every day pay, we can spend our money on the items or save them. We pay rent the 1st of every month.
List all the reasons it would be beneficial for you to listen during Ms. Smith's lessons?
It's beneficial because you get to learn, practice, get better at something, you know what to do for homework and on tests, you're showing respect and care for Ms. Smith, etc.
What are the expectations in line?
Face forward, one behind the other, voices off, and walk in a straight line.
When are good times to use the bathroom? (list as many as you can)
Before school starts, recess, lunch, independent work time, before specials end, and after 2:30.
Name all the fines and how much each cost in this classroom.
Misuse of bathroom/water is -1, late work is -5, consequence 3 is -7, property damage is -10, disrespect towards others or consequence 4 is -15.
What is the 4th consequence?
A letter home to your parents to sign.

What always needs to be on your work?
Name and date.
How is our class a family?
We work together, have each others back, we have fun together and we treat each person in our class with kindness, acceptance and respect
What do you do for math rotations and name each rotation.
Stay focused and do your work. The stations are Ms. Smith, Zearn, Mr. Hwang, and Sprint/game.
Why would you lose recess or receive alternative recess?
If you made it to consequence 3 (for 1 day) and consequence 4 (for 1 week). If you didn't finish your assignments or wasn't doing well in specials.
