I'm mainly worried about GENX or PFAS
Unfortunately we can’t test for Gen-X or PFOA’s. That would be something you would have to send to an actual lab because it’s a chemical. However, our technicians are very knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions and explain how to prevent it.
When you think about it, we use our water everyday! We cook with it, we bathe with it, and we even give it to our families. So it’s very important to know how the water is affecting our home, water using appliances and most importantly, our family. And to add, all of our techs badged and background checked - are professional, well trained people who have been testing water for many years.

However, we also run tests that have more to do with the way the water affects other things around the house, such as your water using appliances, how much laundry detergent you use, and the appearance and taste of the food you cook. All of the tests are fun and provide very useful information.
Unfortunately they test the water at the point of distribution, the water treatment plant. The water then travels through many miles of old pipe before it reaches your home. So to get the most accurate results we would like to test the water at the point of consumption, your kitchen sink. However, we also run tests that have more to do with the way the water affects other things around the house, such as your water using appliances, how much laundry detergent you use, and the appearance and taste of the food you cook. All of the tests are fun and provide very useful information.

(That’s a great question!) We have both male and female technicians, and we feel that it’s more comfortable when there are two of you and one of us. As well as answer any questions that both you and your significant other may have regarding your water, since everyone in the home uses it in different ways.(Back to script)
In most areas the test results are similar. However, we do find variations depending on what water supply you’re on. Some communities have more than one water source. Also, the condition and age of the pipes that get the water to your house and the plumbing in your own home can alter the quality of the water. Therefore, it’s best to test the water right from the point of consumption, your kitchen faucet. However for forever chemicals, they do have to be sent off to a lab. Although, our techs are extremely knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions on how to prevent it.
