We ask for this letter or email when a member has not been paid yet at the new job.
What is a job offer letter?
Member cannot make a screening appointment without this document.
What is a late notice?
Don't forget to attach this additional document when referring a DV member to an HPS agency
What is an HPAT
Yes, I need the whole thing! Except when using HIF.
What is the first page of the lease?
A document we will only ask for if it is proof of the household's hardship.
What is an expense?
We no longer need this document if the member moves into their new unit while completing a deposit application.
What is their old lease?
We had to request 3 pieces of mail because of this recent life event.
What is a change in household composition?
This newer conglomerate-backed funding was the first to accept the Statement of Fact.
What is Google Tides?
Try not to case manage mid-screening when the member says they can't pay for these necessities.
What is utilities, clothing, or groceries?
Member has to show proof of utilities hookups for assistance with rentals of this housing unit.
What is a mobile home (or RV/trailer)?
If the member doesn't have the usual requested documents, just the letter for this housing assistance is fine.
What is section 8?
This funder offers different amounts of assistance for rental and deposit applications.
What is SOS?
"Never underestimate the power of a well-written-" document that can substitute for a lease if the member used to live with a friend or family member.
What is a letter?
A statement of fact, email statement, or my custom form can be sent if the member does not have one of these HIF requirements.
What is a bank account/bank statement?
Member can submit their birth certificate or school transcripts and a letter from their parent instead of this document
What is a photo ID for an 18 year old?
We went with this funder because they do not qualify for HPS but will need ongoing rental assistance for the rest of the year.
What is Office of Supportive Housing (OSH)?
Even if they contribute to the household's financial hardship, these two expenses will not require receipts or verification.
What are gas and groceries?
When the landlord is not aware that some of the tenants live in the unit, we can request this in place of their lease.
