LEAD Provincial Conferences are full weekend leadership events focusing on personal, professional, chapter operational and leadership training which includes an awards banquet and Provincial Council meetings during which proposed changes to Bylaws and Ritual are discussed and voted on.

 LEAD Schools are leadership events that provide opportunities to build chapter operational, leadership and personal skills in an effective way while also having fun—programming complete on Saturday afternoon.

In what situations are alcoholic beverages allowed at Delta Sigma Pi events?

Alcohol is prohibited at pledge meetings, the Pledging Ceremony, chapter business and executive committee meetings and the Initiation Ceremony. Alcoholic beverages must either be: (1) provided and sold on a per-drink basis by a licensed and insured third-party vendor (e.g., restaurant, bar, caterer, etc.); or (2) brought by individual members and guests through a bring your own beverage (“BYOB”) system.

Describe the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.

The Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation is the charitable giving arm of the Fraternity. It is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, gifts and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. The mission of the Leadership Foundation is to financially support educational and charitable programs that enable members of Delta Sigma Pi to achieve individual and professional excellence.

You should direct them to the Executive Director of the Fraternity. The Executive Director (or designee) shall be the official spokesperson for the Fraternity in response to news media queries, followed by the Grand President. If contacted by news media representatives, you should remain courteous and professional at all times, yet firmly refer questioners to the Executive Director by providing their name and contact information.
